JOURNAL ILLUSTRATION
This is a brand-new workshop which we are running as a trial to see how it works. So, we are looking for people to be part of the trial at a super price of £10pp per week (£60). In return, I ask for your candid feedback so we can make this an engaging programme for the future. This is the first time we have put together a course like this, and the first time I have dared to showcase all the illustration skills that I learnt during my degree. I know!
People have been journaling for centuries, way before photography was invented, when the only way to capture images was to draw them and write notes about them. Now it can be used for our deepest thoughts, our favourite memories, family recipes, expression of emotion, moments of joy and thanksgiving for all that is around us. I mean, I had a moment last week. Walking across the cliffs on a blissfully sunny day, perfect surf in the background, skies as blue as a sailor’s jacket and there I was picking the last of the blackberries to make a crumble. Then the dog Goose decided to slide off the edge of the cliff, but that is another story, but worth illustrating too!

Dates:
Runs on Fridays 17th, 24th October. 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th November. The course does not run during half-term. Completion date is on Friday, 28th November.

Tutor for 2.5 hours each week, which allows for 30 minutes wind-down Q/A after each session.

Cost
£60 for the whole six weeks. Payment in advance. Please ensure that you are available throughout.
Before starting, you will be asked if there is anything specific that you would like to learn.
Your Commitment
This is a trial course, so your open mind and positive approach will be much appreciated. You will be asked for feedback after each session so that any improvements can be made for future courses. It is anticipated that this course in the future will be in the region of £210-£240 for the 6 weeks. Thank you so much for taking part and helping us introduce a new workshop.
