CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
FAMILY POTTERY PAINTING
We offer 1hr 15min join in sessions every morning between 10am and 12.45 for parents and primary school children. It is an affordable and creative activity. There is a choice of about 8 useful earthenware items, all at the same price. Find your inner 4 year old and get stuck in! Great fun, good value and tea and coffee available. Please book in advance for your slot. Items glazed and fired within 48 hours
CERAMIC KITCHENWARE
One of our most popular creative workshops. Things in your home should be practical and beautiful. When you come to a ceramic kitchenware workshop, I will help you build your artistic confidence with illustration techniques because everyone can do art….even if you think you can’t!
This Workshop is approx. 3 hours
includes tutored session and a tea/coffee and a slice of cake.
FABRIC BLOCK PRINTING
This fun workshop is in two parts. First we show you how to create a block print from wood and a selection of mark making materials. It is very creative using a range of techniques. We think it is important that you create your own prints.
Choose from a wide selection of practical textile items such as aprons, bags, tea-shirts and tea-towels. Price is £35 which includes

You will use high quality fabric paints to transfer your prints to your fabric. We discuss pattern tiling and assist with your design.
BOOK BINDING
A lovely introduction to book binding using the concertina technique. This is a delightful creative session showing you how to make a beautiful book that you can use a a memories book, a wedding guest book, photo album or even a recipe book.
A gentle 4 hour session with tea, coffee and cake! All equipment and techniques provided. If you have an idea in your head, please do bring your own fabrics or paper to work with.
CLAY WORKSHOP
So much fun! What shape will you clock be? A Chicken? A Teapot? Campervan? Beach-Hut? Or something else?
You need to be able to come along over 3 sessions at times to suit you. Clock making can easily be accommodated within our ceramic illustration workshops.
Week 1: Design clock. Roll clay and work design into it? Clay will need to dry and be fired before the next session.
Week 2: Paint your clock 'bisque'. This will be glazed and fired again before the next session.
Week 3: Embellish. Add clock mechanism and extras such as ribbon, wire, buttons and beads to finish your clock.
Cost: £75 per person.
