About the event
We will be running a fundraising tea room for The Royal British Legion. The charity tea room will run from 11:30am as we will be observing a two minute silence at 11am.
Payment for refreshments, light lunches and cakes are donations to be paid directly to the RBL, so if you can pay by cash straight to the RBL collection pot, it would be much appreciated. As always, we offer a gorgeous vintage atmosphere and this is the best way that we can honour those who fell from every conflict since WWI and WWII. Now we are dealing with veterans from Northern Ireland, The Falklands, The fall of Yugoslavia, Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan. Now we are watching Ukraine and the continuous conflict across the world. These are all in my lifetime. How sad that we have not seen genuine peace in Europe since WWII. However, we live very liberated…
