We will always accommodate young poeple for work experience placements. We beleive in meaningful work experience and often take young people on in pairs.

Remember, it is you we need to speak to, not your mum! Please come in to see us appropriately dressed and ask your mum to wait to one side. We are here to help boost your confidence and ensure that you leave us with additional employability, communication, problem solving and team work skills.
YOUNG ENTERPRISE UK
We wholly believe in the ethos and outcomes of Young Enterprise UK . Young Enterprise runs fantastic employability and entrepreneur programmes for young people in schools and colleges with the support of local business mentors.
As a community business, we have a duty to ensure our young people get all the support and opportunities they need for employment skills development.
This year, we assisted young people taking part in the 10X challenge where they made their own products and ran their own business over four weeks.
This learning opportunity builds confidence, financial literacy, communication skills and problem solving in the ‘real world’. A great experience for all involved AND profits raised for local charities!

DAISY DOODLES
Daisy is a wonderful young lady with Downs Syndrome. She is bright, great fun, hard working and has been designing artwork for her own range of plates, bowls, mugs, tea-towels and tote bags.
She currently has two designs (Grandad’s Beach Hut and Busy Bees).They are all available through our shop here at The Kitchen Front.
Supporting young people with special needs is something that we fell into, but are loving so much. It is our absolute pleasure to coach Daisy and see her confidence build.
