Hearty ,wholesome, plentiful food, Lifeboat singers, bring your own beers, get creative- even the toughest blokes need a bit of down time and creativity.
Just tag it on to some surfing or canoeing in Bude and then after head on to The Barrel.

HISTORY TALK
Join our fabulous History Talks which is based on verbatim narrative from interviews with local people who recall the ‘Ration Years’ from 1939-1954. Bude is unique its memories of that time. Social history showcasing how we lived and of course… “When the Americans Came”!

TEA ROOM
We are open Tue- Saturday 10am – 5pm. In a little corner of our shop, we can seat up to just 8 people. Please do give us a call the day before to book on 01288 350107 as we get very busy! Pre-booking allows us to prepare for any special dietary needs and offer a wider range of sandwiches and cakes.
