Stoneware Workshops

Well hello stoneware!

We run stoneware workshops alongside our regular ceramic workshops. The difference? Stoneware is much more robust that earthenware and uses a range of different glazes which are very unstable and fluid under heat pressure.  It is fired separately to earthenware ceramic at exceptionally high temperatures, which vitrifies the surface.

Our stoneware workshops are

• 3 hours
• include coaching with stoneware techniques
• offer a wide range of high quality stone tableware
• did we mention tea and cake?
• Big focus on mark making, alchemy and experimentation.
