Battle of Britain Victory Tea Room

Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September 2021.

The Battle of Britain took place in the skies between July 10th and October 31st 1940.

Here at The Kitchen Front, we create a 1940s’ style canteen in our atmospheric Grade II listed building. The bunting will be up, swing music will be playing and tables are laid with proper table cloths and vintage fine china. We serve traditional afternoon tea, high teas and original WWII recipe cakes with loose leaf tea and artisan coffee. Our WAAF staff are on hand to serve you.

We can only seat 16 people, so please book in advance on 01288 350107 to make a reservation. Reservations are £5 per booking and include a replica Battle of Britain Newspaper. We allocate 1.5 hours per booking.

Prices start at £5.50pp for a pot of tea and a generous slice of homemade cake up to £25.50 for Churchill’s Tea Cabinet which serves two.

Beware, you never know when an air raid siren will go off, or when Mr Churchill might make a speech!
