1940s Pop-Up Victory Tea Room
The gals at the Kitchen Front in Bude, Cornwall put on the ‘pop-up’ 1940s Victory Tea Room on high days, holidays and commemorative weekends. We only do about six a year, so do not miss out! We turn this gorgeous building into a traditional 1940s tea room, with staff dressed in period costume, a full WWII Ration inspired menu, music of the era, loose leaf tea, artisan coffee and quite frankly, delicious home made cakes.
The service is of a traditional Lyons Tea House, using original vintage china, proper table cloths and all the attention to detail you would expect of such time. Seating only 16, the atmosphere is utterly charming and intimate. The tea room has become increasingly popular and we recommend that you book tables in advance to guarantee space.
We look forward to greeting you.
